Generative Stitches: Stop Motion Embroidery

My first experiments with stop motion embroidery, are going well. Here, I've implemented a divide line algorithm by hand, with chain stitches.

For future iterations, I will need to set up my lighting so that it will be consistent for extended stretches of stitching and photographing. I may also need to develop a better production work-flow.

This piece is very "hand made". I'd make a stitch, pick up my camera to take a photo, and repeat. A camera stand, and remote trigger may be very helpful when I continue with this project.

I feel driven to the tangible arts these days, even as I take my algorithms further into Computer Science territory.
