I guess I might as well give up any idea of taking a year off from Flash conferences.
Some time ago, I was asked to join the judging team for the Flashforward awards. Sure is a different way to participate, and it was interesting to see such an overview of what the community is producing right now.
In the fall, I'll be making the long trek from San Francisco to Brighton, England for Flash On The Beach. I'm looking forward to enjoying the conference, without the pressure of speaking.
If you see me at one of these conferences, be sure to say hi. If I'm a little distracted, it just means I'm on social overload. Find me later in the conference and be sure to follow up with an email. If your hoping to talk biz, setting up a meeting ahead of time is also a good idea.
